AMP3 Press Day
Here are some more pictures from AMP3’s Press Day yesterday, featuring Tess Johnson's Nomad collection (designer backpacks born from unique prints, couture techniques, and classic design), Snowman (a NYC-based premium down outerwear company for women), Cat (initially an industrial work boot which has grown into a fashionable lifestyle collection), Citizen Ciao (a lifestyle streetwear brand for men and women inspired by the Southern California surf culture), andBela Criacao (a contemporary womenswear brand inspired by the sights, sounds, colors, and culture of South America).

AMP3 Press Day: Bela Criacao
AMP3 held their Press Day at the WeWork building across the street from Bryant Park yesterday, where we got to meet some of their designer clients (including Tess Johnson, Snowman, Cat, and Citizen Ciao) and bloggers and press were able to stop by and check out the most recent collections as well as indulge in some treats. Above are some snaps I got of designer Felicia Persaud, owner of Bela Criacao, and Alyson from AMP3. (Both lovely ladies are wearing pieces from the designer’s collection.)
Bela Criacao is a vibrant collection “for every woman”, as the designer puts it. Persaud explains that her collection is not intended for any specific age range, but is greatly inspired by her South American heritage. While there is no restriction on size or generation, confidence is essential.
Be on the lookout for Bela Criacao’s pieces in the new Entourage film!
NYFW: Manufacture New York Runway Show - FW ‘14
To kick off the festivities this season, I attended an exciting new organization’s runway show, presenting designers Minnoji, Modu, and Mimi New York. Manufacture New York’s mission is to provide independent fashion designers with the resources and skills to streamline their process, making the most affordable, innovative, and sustainable option for both creators and consumers.
I was completely blown away by both the pieces and presentation of Minnoji. Here are my favorite pieces from their collection. Thanks so much to AMP3 Public Relations for including me in this special night!
