Alexander McQueen is my favorite designer, and one of my biggest sources of inspiration. Through his collection of beauty, science, and disturbance, McQueen was one of the great minds that succeeded in making fashion perhaps the most powerful form of art.

Greetings, all! And to my U.S. readers, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate plenty of dead bird in my honor – since I’m a vegetarian, but I certainly made up for it with plenty of string beans, pumpkin cheesecake, and mashed potaters. Thanksgiving is not just about Thanks…but also Giving, which is exactly what this Post Turkey post is about.
This year has treated me so well in every aspect of my life: with my life partnership, my blogging career, and the amazing connections I’ve made…and so far, 2012 is ALREADY looking pretty amazing and I continue to have faith with every little step along the way. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you to all of you who have supported and continue to support my blogging.

Nasty Gal is by far my most FAVORITE shop to lurk when I’m on my computer. I’m not a big fan of going to stores and waiting in line to try on clothes. And Nasty Gal seems to combine all of my top-pick stores and styles into one big online boutique of awesomeness.
Everything I love: faux fur, laid back, sexy, sheer, short, SHOES! If you’re gonna pick one day out of the year to do shopping, TODAY is the day. So while you’re sitting there thinking it over…I’m already stocking up my digital shopping cart.

For the past 48 hours, I’ve basically been thinking about NOTHING except attending Gaga’s Workshop, which opened this morning at midnight at Barney’s in Midtown. While I was avidly following #gagasworkshop on Twitter, I saw so many tweets from people who don’t live in New York saying how much they wish they could be here to check out the magical shop. So I am taking the liberty of sharing the wonderful land of Santa Gaga with those of you in distant lands…or for the locals who just don’t feel like going out in this nasty weather.

If you find yourself in Manhattan between now and January 2nd, you MUST go into the Workshop, even if you don’t plan on buying anything. Barneys and Lady Gaga both have an incredible artistic team, and you can see it through every piece in the Workshop. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. And if you’re not, you can still shop the Gaga’s Workshop limited collection at www.gagasworkshop.com.
