So the chaos of Christmas is finally over, but we’ve still got New Years to get through. I’ll be ringing in 2012 in a penthouse overlooking Central Park (nope – not my penthouse, unfortunately) with my love, some friends, but mostly a number of important people I won’t know. (Welcome to the fab life!) And I still haven’t even had a chance to go shopping for the lucky dress I’ll be wearing for the occasion.

Not to make any excuses for why I haven’t been out kicking ass in the streets and bringing you all kinds of juicy fashion stories, but I’m definitely excited for 2012 to be here already. The most exciting fashion-related events I’ve experienced in the month of December have been flipping through Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle…and of course, putting on my Christmas sweater. January is going to be a great month, because it’s the month before February. And everyone who cares about fashion knows February is FASHION WEEK. I can’t even explain how excited I am to attend my very first New York Fashion Week. I’ve been invited by a handful of brands to cover their shows, however I won’t spill those names until the official invitations are sent out.

Anyone else have a good feeling about 2012? I’m pretty sure this is going to be my favorite year by far.
