Before all 3 – yes…THREE – of my cameras completely malfunctioned during my first show at London Fashion Week, I managed to snap a beautiful shot of the catwalk from inside the Somerset House tent, and a couple of the pieces from the Jasper Conran showcase. Although there is much variety in Conran’s collection, I did happen to take more notice of the color brown in the showcase, and how much of it was used. After looking through my closet, I saw that I actually don’t own any items of clothing the color brown. Normally the use of it would seem a bit boring to me, but the collection was beautifully presented with compliments of bronze and gold, as well as all sorts of fun materials and textures to add shine and even a bit of fluff to the pieces. It was a wonderful collection that allowed me to open my eyes to finding beauty, creativity, and loads of potential in a color that I normally don’t associate myself with. Certainly a great start to my first time at London Fashion Week. Sorry I don’t have more photos of the experience to share with you.
