One of the last New York Fashion Week shows I attended before London was the Nomia A/W 2012 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. It took me a while to gather my thoughts on what struck me most about the collection, until finally I realized I was overcome with the sense of the uber-chic feminist. Not the sort of feminist who rocks overalls, hairy armpits, and a mohawk, but more like the fierce and confident woman you really want to take you home and give you a spanking – because you know she totally would.
