Today brought an unexpected dose of happymess when I got a care package in the mail from my Mama Kimchi in South Carolina. As a lover of snail mail and simple comforts, I don’t think there’s anything that says ‘love’ quite like a care package. My mom is a representative for Avon, so I was a pig in poo when I took a gander through all the goodies she sent me. She even threw in my old passport booklet and my favorite gladiator sandals that I’ve been separated from for FAR too long, along with a new pair that she bought me. I love the high heel keychain, because my mom knows – of all people – how much I love shoes, and the Ruby keychain because it’s my birthstone.
