I love that every season Monika Chiang is always my first show of Fashion Week. She never disappoints and always knows exactly how to dress up the independent and feminine woman.

On September 10th, Mathieu Mirano brought a presentation of amazons and ice queens to the Box at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The collection was so elegantly fierce, emphasizing female strength even through the vulnerability of sheer and lace.
NYFW: Rafael Cennamo S/S 2013 presentation
The most pleasantly surprising fashion showcase this season has, so far, proven to be Rafael Cennamo’s S/S 2013 couture collection. Every piece was strikingly individual, lacking any sense of typicality or redundance in regards to a particular season’s expectations. To sum the entire collection up into one word – well, I’m not entirely sure any one word could do it justice.
